I also won’t be surprised if Vick IS ineffective. He was clearly not prepared to play and it was lucky that Ben didn’t get hurt in the 1st half. The longer Vick was in the game, the greater the chance of losing.

I am one of the people that do not want Vick on the team, but he is, and even though he is I still support the team. I do not have to like every player on the roster. I hope he does well, because I want the team to do well, but I don’t expect it.

But on the bright side we held the Rams to 71 yards rushing and only 47 yards if you take a away the one 24 yarder by a receiver coming out the backfield. I really like what I’m seeing from the guys up front and the LBs.

The miracle, imo, was that the official watching replays at normal speed was able to discern what was just barely visible at slow motion. Perhaps it was a make up for the missed call on the hit that took Ben out of the game.

I can see the point of the arguments that the loss of Ben will reduce the effectiveness of AB and the other WRs. If Vick turns into a turnover machine we may well see folks calling for (clears his throat) Landry Jones. Good thing Jones got all those reps in pre-season.
