The wipers bent with the combined force of the wind, rain and normal road speed. First one wiper then another bent like wet noodles. IIRC, this was close to 25 years ago, the rental car had been made in Romania. When we made it to the rental agency and showed them the vehicle they gave us a free two level upgrade to a mid size North American made vehicle.
