I was wearing it at an event at Heinz Field and he signed it for me. A very lovely man, in all senses. I’ve never met Ward, but grew to love him when I wrote up a long series comparing him and Chad Ochocinco or whoever he is on Dancing With the Stars for a now-defunct publication. In terms of almost everything there was no comparison between the two, even though Chad was almost certainly the more naturally gifted dancer. Funny, just like in football…
