I might if we had a team in Winnipeg but the Blue Bombers make the Cleveland Browns look successful. I got this gig because of my work with the Winnipeg Folk Festival.

If I have to chose then the traditional thing is to cheer for the West since I live in the west. Go Oilers… er Eskimos.

I am an excellent driver btw… except when I am not. I will likely be one of the few sober people running around the downtown this weekend The Grey Cup is also known as when fans from across Canada get together to get drunk and be silly (riding horses through hotel lobbies level silly).

* Although not all of the USA is below the 49th parallel, it is an old term used in Western Canada (and perhaps other parts as well ) to refer to the USA. A glance at a map of North America should suffice to explain why.
