The fact is, the Steelers aren’t doing anything important unless Ben is the QB, and it really doesn’t matter whom of the ones available around the league are his backups.

Given his history of generally missing a few games a year (on hits that would have put QBs with less Adamantium in their skeletal structure out for the season), I suppose you could argue we need somebody who can avoid going winless while Ben is out, but Landry Jones PROBABLY can do that again. (As an Oklahoma booster, I have said from the beginning, though, that Landry would be an NFL bust.)
