I am curious to see if the plan on defense changes. More blitzes and different looks to try and confuse Alex Smith or a more vanilla D like previous weeks? Shazier is a big loss but I like what I saw from Chickillo last week. Our run D looks pretty good thru the first 3 games but last week they were gassed because philly held the ball for about 35:00. I think depth is a concern every year. Artie Burns gets a pick this week or maybe Willie Gay?

The offense has to execute. Bell is back. Give him some space and watch him work.

The offense has a lot to prove. During the Bengals game we had them on the ropes that whole game. One more TD would have been the knockout blow it but our offense let them off the hook and the Bengals got back in the game because of it. Killer mentality seems to be missing.

These injuries are dispiriting. Yes, they are part of the game, but the Eagles game was calamitous in more than just the outcome. There is real talent on this defense, bit not enough depth to overcome the loss of Golden, Golsen, Shazier, Dupree and nicked up Timmons, Savis and Heyward.

Perhaps we can squeeze out a win tomorrow, but it is difficult to be confident with so many missing parts. . . .SIGH.
