My guess is with both Bill and Don. We know he is a good man, but drama sells and he doesn’t provide that.

The Steelers players, after all were the team to vote down the last collective bargaining agreement and most recently had that attitude reinforced by the theft of Jesse James’ touchdown. Meanwhile the stench surrounding the Patriots keeps getter fouler. Goodell’s complete incompetence at bring some modicum of character to Kraft’s team, I’m sure, is not lost on anyone on the team. I am not forgetting the stench that once surrounded Ben, but Ben took his punishment and rehabilitated himself.

It is possible he is not interested in or comfortable in that role.
